Eva's email for today's theme

The theme today... Has to do with darkness and the seed for the new. We
don't know yet what the seed is... It is the potential. Our job now is to
ground ourselves and listen to what the seed needs and wants to grow into...
A time of waiting. You know that something is there, but you don't know yet
what it is....

Home and Not Home

Here is the theme given to me by Eva before I stepped into the studio to whip up a painting for the altar at dance.

Our theme for tonight .. Hm, has something to do with the following.
We will do some things around one group of persons being "at home" holding
that space of home, being stationary in the room. The other group of people
is traveling and can "visit" the Homepeople...
So it is about holding your space and opening your space and letting
somebody enter... And while visiting it is about respecting the rules of the
Homeperson...
The altar will probably be something homey... As it is the time of visiting
with family etc....
I am not sure if I could explain this well enough, but hopefully you are
getting a bit of an idea.

Above is my painting. I took the theme literally, starting with a hearth and the far right is a building to represent the outside world of cities and cold. The inside, with a nice carpet and cozy fire seems like a stage set, and really, home can be anywhere you drop into.

I did it

I hit return and that finished off my first blog (with title only)
Now I've uploaded my first painting, but it is so huge it seems ridiculous.
